The bar’s been set. Now we close the season. SPOTLIGHT CABARET returns to Artemis Whiskey Bar one last time this summer.

We are thrilled to showcase PoleCoven’s Captivate Performance Students’ finale show of their 2025-2026 season! This final edition of the series is a celebration of the students’ journey and the local arts community. We’re going out the way we came in: loud, alive, and completely worth your Sunday afternoon.

Lucent Productions’ presentations and PoleCoven’s pop-up studio classes take place on the ancestral lands of the Songhees and Xʷsepsəm Nations, whose people have cared for these lands for generations long before us. Performance art has the power to positively impact communities committed to reconciliation and repatriation, and it can also contribute to the ongoing erasure of the original stewards of these lands. It is our commitment and responsibility not just to follow TRC Call to Action #92, but to actively dedicate the time and resources to include indigenous voices and artists not only as participants, but as leaders within the community arts.
