January 15th and 22nd 1:30 - 2:30 | Studio 4 Athletics 3rd Floor

Pole Fundamentals:
Join our instructor Sylvia Louis in a Pole Fundamentals class. Pole dance is a fun and energetic form of movement that can be enjoyed by people of all fitness levels. The class will focus on the foundational movements of pole dancing, including how to safely hold the pole. You will learn basic spins and holds, and how to create transitions between each move on the floor. This class is a great way to learn something new. If you are interested in building strength and confidence, come out and give it a try! This is an entry-level class and suitable for all levels. Pole dance classes are a fun and challenging way to learn a new skill and boost self-confidence. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned dancer, this class has something to offer.

Spin Pole Fundamentals:

During this class, Sylvia Louis will introduce you to basic pole techniques, including safe grips, spins and transitions. The instructor will begin by facilitating a warm-up and guiding you through conditioning exercises focused on the upper body and core. The rest of the class is dedicated to teaching you how to safely use spin pole and other essential pole fundamentals. The class will end with a cool down and stretch.

Floorwork: Liquid Motion

January 17th and 19th 5:15 - 6:15 | Studio 4 Athletics 3rd Floor

Join us for a floorwork class based on Liquid Motion techniques, dance theory, natural organic movement and fundamentals to build a proper foundation for floorwork. Whether you are a seasoned performer looking to smooth out your floorwork technique or brand new to dance and interested in sensual movement - this class will allow you to get juicy in your movement. Slink around the learn the basics of moving sensually across the floor.
